AQUAE, due to its structural characteristics, allows, through extensive student/computer interaction, the pursuit of a varied range of objectives, related to the acquisition of information regarding the factors that determine the variety of groundwater and influence its therapeutic properties.
This acquisition is provided through a set of activities that allow:
- simulate natural phenomena that are difficult to observe directly or whose laboratory implementation is impractical;
- interpret data collected in these simulations;
- interpret graphs and diagrams;
- formulate conclusions;
- understand concepts that traditional methods only barely clarify;
- apply these concepts in various situations.
