The investment game has as its main objective to enable a first contact of students in the 11th and 12th grades with the reality of financial markets. By allowing a very close monitoring for about two months of the daily activity of the main financial markets, the game participants will have the opportunity to learn, testing in practice some of the essential concepts of investment realization and the functioning of financial markets.
The teams participating in the game have an initial capital of 1,000,000 Euros and over 8 weeks can invest this capital in deposits in different currencies, individual stocks or national and international stock indices. The team that achieves a higher final capital wins the game.
Game published on CD-Rom intended for secondary school students with the objective of promoting the Finance degree from ISCTE.
