The Mimocas Games "can be used in pedagogical activities that aim to: develop semantic understanding, through the increase of comprehensive and expressive vocabulary and the performance of classifications; develop reading, through visual discrimination and memorization; develop body awareness, through spatial orientation and sexual identification; develop auditory discrimination, through the discrimination of familiar and differentiated sounds; develop visual memory, through the identification and visual memorization of items that may eventually be words; develop sequential reasoning, through the organization of ideas and understanding of events according to their evolution in time; increase lexicon and promote the development of grammar through the use of verbs, linking elements and personal pronouns in the sentence.
“The Mimocas Games” were designed to be used in the accompaniment of children with special educational needs, carriers of Trisomy 21, and can be used by all children up to 6/7 years of age."
