Uma Aventura em Cascais: Aprender, Brincar e Ajudar a Construir sem Barreiras
2003

"An Adventure in Cascais" is an initiative of the Commission for People with Disabilities of the Municipality of Cascais (CPD) developed within the scope of municipal commemorations for the European Year of People with Disabilities 2003.

Learning, playing and helping to build without barriers is a challenge that is launched to everyone, in particular to teachers and children, in order to build an increasingly inclusive society. If public space is still today an obstacle course, often impassable for people with limited mobility, educating towards accessibility for all becomes an urgent exercise of citizenship, fundamentally if we think that we could be the protagonists of this "Adventure in Cascais".

This CD presents itself as a pedagogical tool that addresses the themes of disability and accessibility in a playful and game perspective based on four complementary areas:

  • Who is Who?
  • Questions and Answers;
  • Erase Difficulties;
  • Let's Add Color to Accessibility.
